Clue is a free daily brain-puzzle game. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the game, remember your progress, show a leaderboard, and (optionally) email you when a new puzzle is ready. This page explains exactly what we store and why.
Your game progress โ score, streak, coins, level, and settings โ is saved in your own browser using local storage. It stays on your device. You can clear it any time from your browser settings; no account is required to play.
To understand how the game is used and improve it, we store an anonymous random device identifier and basic events (visits, which puzzle rungs are answered, how many players are active). This is not linked to your real identity. Backend data is stored with Supabase.
To keep Clue free, we may show ads. When advertising is enabled we use Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
Clue is a general-audience puzzle game and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
